November 15, 2010 Workshop: Improving Work-Life Satisfaction
The MUSC Women Scholars Initiative and the MUSC Postdoctoral Association co-hosted a workshop entitled "Improving Work-Life Satisfaction for Women (and Men) in Science." This workshop was brought to MUSC by the Association for Women in Science (AWIS) and the Elsevier Foundation. The MUSC Institutional membership to AWIS is funded by the MUSC Women Scholars Initiative.

June 9, 2010 Workshop: Promotion and Tenure
The MUSC Faculty Senate and the MUSC Women Scholars Initiative co-sponsored a panel discussion concerning promotion and tenure. Panelists included members from MUSC Colleges, members of the MUSC Tenure Committee and recently promoted and tenured faculty.
