What We Do
We support MUSC through volunteerism and by awarding scholarships to selected students in the six colleges. We also provide opportunities for fellowship through programs and special interest groups.
Joining the Women's Club
The Women's Club is open to female faculty, professional staff, administrative officers, and MUSC affiliated board members, as well as spouses of faculty, professional staff, administrative officers and board members of the Medical Univeristy and Medical Center.
MUWC awards scholarship each year to deserving students. This year, we will award scholarships in the amount of $15,000.
The MUSC Womens's Club (MUWC) can be your starting place to volunteer. Some of its members volunteer within the Medical Center, Children's Hospital and Hollings Cancer Center. It also holds a variety of events to support the patients at MUSC. Members choose the projects or events they want to participate in.
MUWC members also get together for leisure and social activities. MUWC offers a variety of programs, lectures, trips and special events, such as its Fall Coffee, Holiday Party, Wine Tasting, Couples Cooking Clases and Spring Luncheon. Additionally, MUWC has special interest clubs:
To join MUWC, complete the membership application and mail with your dues. Membership dues are $100 for active members; $35 for associate/retired members. The vast majority of your dues go into the scholarship fund, and your contribution is tax deductible.
