The 3rd Annual MUWC Francis Marion National Forest Nature Hike Seewee Shell Ring with Ken Patrick

Rendezvous (9:30): Mt. Pleasant Kohl's parking lot, Highway 17N in the new Walmart Shopping Center 2 stoplights past Hwy 41 intersection. From there, an approximate 15 mile drive to trail parking.
Description: Short hike to a remarkable 4,000+ year old shell ring and separate clam midden overlooking a pristine marsh. This site is believed to be the furthest north shell ring on the eastern coast. For those who are interested, we are planning to eat lunch at the Seewee Restaurant afterwards.
