The Art and Science of Grant Writing
In this economy, the name of the game is securing funding. Grants are successful when they are well written and reveal a clear sense of the significance of a project for specialized and more general readers. Writing them can be tricky. You have to find a persuasive voice and, at the same time, comply with each and every guideline. We welcome the opportunity to help you decipher instructions and make your writing both lively and factual. MUSC has the keen insight to offer two types of approach to assistance in grant writing. You can schedule time to work with a Writing Center faculty member, who will focus on teaching strategies for persuasion as well as editing techniques. Or, for faculty researchers, time with a faculty member from the Office of Scientific Editing and Publications (OSEP) is available. OSEP can often provide editing assistance when time is of the essence. Services for Students | Services for Faculty |
